Military Member of the Month Brent Bailey
Our March Military Member of the Month is Brent Bailey. Originally from Michigan, Brent served in the Army Reserves as a Military Policeman from 1986-1995. He went to Basic Training after his junior year of High School and finished his Advanced Individual Training after graduating. During his service, he reached the rank of Specialist and did two tours in Germany.
While he was in the Army Reserves, Brent also worked to educate himself. He attended Wentworth Military Academy where he earned an Associate of Arts in General Studies. He followed that up with earning a dual major Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Michigan State. He then completed a Masters in Criminal Justice, also from Michigan State.
After finishing his education, Brent began working in loss prevention. He excelled in the field and had a 20-year career from 1996-2016, working for several years as a regional manager. Work brought him from Michigan all the way to Southern California where he resides now. Brent has now taken his talents to Mother Earth Brew Co., but the most impressive thing about Brent is his heart for his fellow veterans.
Brent’s friend started a program back in 2009 called Christmas Dinner for Homeless Vets. In December of 2013, Brent brought the program to Southern California. Christmas Dinner For Homeless Vets provides a Christmas meal along with hygiene supplies to veterans that are homeless and verified through the Salvation Army’s Bell, CA (Los Angeles area) office as having served. The veterans are welcomed by volunteers as well as fellow veterans and truly shown appreciation for their service. At least for one day, these normally forgotten and lonely veterans are treated with a hero’s welcome and a proper meal.
We salute you, Brent! You truly are High Caliber!

P.S. Lets not forget the amazing woman who has been by his side since 1991, Eileen!
